Greetings, STL Family!
Wow, what a great time we had bringing back our FallFest! Someone approached me, hugged me, and said, "After an over two-year absence from an in-person community event, it feels like a grand reunion."
I couldn't agree more. I'm still reeling with joy and want to express my deepest and most heartfelt gratitude for all the "workers in the vineyard" who answered the call to serve humbly. Their motivation and inspiration came from their genuine love for our fellow parishioners, families, and friends.
At the risk of leaving someone out, I cannot name everyone who volunteered and contributed to this successful gathering. But I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge our sponsors and key volunteer teams:
Event Coordinators Kevin Lawrence & Michele Curl and their awesome team of volunteers (decorated, staged, set up/take down the event)
Silent Auction Coordinator Michelle Hayford and her great sidekick, Dianne Heidenreich, and all the beautiful gift basket designers and contributors
Kitchen Crew Chiefs Don Mercurio & Ed Isaaco and Knights of Columbus. What a "Happy" meal!
Haunted Maze Coordinators Aaron Perry, Ben Nance.Their brain & brawn crew did an "A-maz-ing job, fun and scary times.
Margarita Bar Sponsor, Barbara & Bob Carter, had an intoxicating grip on the tasty concoctions.
Beer Sponsors, Groundswell Brewery & Kevin Rhodes whose generosity gave us "cheery" beers.
Wine Sponsor, Granite Lion Cellars & Miriam who donated very fine varieties of wine. What a tasting!
I don't have the final revenue numbers yet, but I am exstatic over the 250+ people who shared food, fun, laughter, dance, and warm hugs that night. God is so good to us!
With a very grateful heart,
Jane A.
