Hybrid Catholic Connected Parenting Classes (online classes and in-person family retreats) offered by the Diocese of Boise-Marriage and Family Life Office, The course will run August 20 to October 30, 2022.                                                                          
The Diocese of Boise - Marriage and Family Life Office is offering our Catholic Connected Parenting Course.  This will be a hybrid course with the following schedule:

Welcome Online class via Zoom: Saturday, Aug. 20 from 10:00am - 12:30pm
4 weeks to do VIRTUAL classes at your own pace (Aug. 21 - Sept. 16)
In-person Family *Mini-Retreat #1 - Saturday, Sept. 17, 9am - 12:30pm (optional potluck lunch following class) - St. Mark's School, 7503 W. Northview St., Boise
4 weeks to do VIRTUAL classes at your own pace (Sept. 18 - Oct. 14)
In-person Family *Mini-Retreat #2 - Saturday, Oct. 15, 9am - 12:30pm (optional potluck lunch following class) - St. Mark's School, 7503 W. Northview St., Boise
2 weeks to finish assessment, evaluation and any other videos before access is removed (Oct. 16 - Oct. 30)

*In-person Family Mini-Retreat Details:
Families are asked to gather at St. Mark's School  for parent and family activities. Details will be emailed to you closer to the event.
Parents and children (4 yrs. and up)  participate in the family activities. Children 3 and under will be welcomed in babysitting.  
Single parents are welcome. Married couples are encouraged to participate together.
Please bring a side dish or salad to share at a potluck lunch. We will provide a main dish. For those with special dietary needs, please bring your own food to this potluck lunch.
Babysitting: For those utilizing the babysitting, please bring needed baby supplies.

The classes will be taught by Jodi Goettemoeller Fulford, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.

The cost of the program is $100 per family which includes the parent's online course, 2 mini-retreats with a children's program, and babysitting.  Scholarships are available if there is financial need.

All reading materials can be found in the Learning Management System used for the class. If a parent would like a paper manual, the cost is $25 per binder. Arrangements can be made to mail you a binder. Please call us at 208-350-7535.

Payment should be made directly to the Diocese of Boise. Payment should be made before August 20, the first online class. Once you have paid for the class, you will receive links for logging on to the first online class and access to the LMS (Learning Management System) we will use for the virtual portion of the course.
