Volunteers must be entering 6th grade or older. All volunteers are asked to attend our Vacation Bible Camp training on Sunday, August 4th at 12:30 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: All adult volunteers are required to complete the background check and Safe Environment training requirements. The Archdiocese of Seattle and Mary, Queen of Peace are very vigilant in protecting children.
*Please note: If you've already attended the Safe Environment training and have an account on Virtus, please make sure you are up to date. No further forms need to be submitted.
*If this is the first time you are volunteering, in order to have the Safe Environment process completed for VBC, you will need to fill out a background check and complete the Safe Environmenty process by Monday, July 15th.

I/We, the parent(s), give our permission for our child(ren) to volunteer at “Scuba” Vacation Bible Camp. I/We fully recognize that such undertaking involves an element of risk for me /our child(ren) and assume and accept these risks and hazards which are incidental to such participation. I/ We hereby hold harmless and release any and all rights of claim against the Corporation of the Catholic Archbishop of Seattle, Mary, Queen of Peace Parish, it's employees, and all members of the Faith Formation Staff (paid or volunteer), for any damage or injury I/ our son or daughter may incur while participating in this event from August 5th thru August 9th, 2024. I hereby consent to participation by the above named volunteer (my son/daughter/individual under my guardianship), in the event described above.
Photography Release Form: I consent to photos taken of me / my child(ren) volunteering in Mary, Queen of Peace Parish – Vacation Bible Camp Program and activities for the purpose of sharing what we did with the parish either on our website, blog, newsletters, posters, etc. I recognize that I / my child(ren) will not be identified by name in any of the photos, without my further consent. If you do not wish to have you/ your child(ren) pictured at all, please write your instructions to: vbc@mqp.org
