Hello Everyone!
We are only at the very beginning of our look into the life of Joseph. We think of patriarchs of the Bible and hold them in such regard that we many times forget how flawed they were. Joseph is a great example of someone who had many flaws in the beginning, but through the refining of trials and time seeing God work, became one of the most powerful and successful people in the land. We are never promised a life without trials. What we are promised is that God will be with us while we are in those trials and that He is able to use those trials for something good. Isaiah 43:2-3 says this:
When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.
The creator of the world doesn't promise to always tell us why things happen, but He is the one who remains on the throne no matter how dark our pit seems and how high the walls of the pit look. Our destiny is still being written by Him and there is no telling what He will do to turn things around - and no telling when. THIS SUNDAY - We continue with our story of Joseph and start to get into the details of just how bad things got for him. Even though Joseph wasn't in a physical pit anymore, that trip to Egypt and what was in store for him there would see Joseph staying in a pit of sorts for many years. This week we look closer at the way God was with Joseph during his lowest points. You don't want to miss any of the messages in this series.

Sharing in the joys and challenges of life with other people who care for us leads to a rich experience in our journey with God. We get to practice what God is teaching us with others who will listen, challenge, and nurture us. We get to practice new skills, use our talents and gifts, and serve people in our community with others who we know and trust. Life groups are great ways to connect with others in the church as well as a way to create a comfortable environment for you to invite friends who may not be comfortable yet with showing up on a Sunday morning. THRIVE - Youth Ministry
Thrive is a group for junior and senior high students. An atmosphere where literally anybody and everybody can come and feel included, loved, and heard. The focus is on helping young people learn how to connect with Jesus in a deeper and more personal way. They regularly tackle some very tough topics that are current in our world today.

Oasis - Now Every Sunday Morning 9:00-9:45

The name is derived from Revelation 5:8, describing heavenly creatures which each had harps and held golden bowls full of incense (which are the prayers of the saints.) Harp and bowl, soaking Praise and Prayer in an intimate setting, finding rest for your soul. Oasis meets directly across from where we have Sunday morning service. At Shoreline Vineyard we don't have a special time in the service set aside for collecting tithes and offerings. At a table located at the entrance door, you will find a small box with a cross cutout on the top. Please place your tithes and offerings in this box.
Alternatively, if you prefer to make your contribution online, you can find a link to our PayPal on the website. There you can choose to make a one-time gift, or if it is more convenient you can set up a recurring gift. You can get to that page directly by clicking here.
