Happy New Year Everyone!
2018 is almost gone. For some, it will be a welcome departure. For others, they may have had one of the best years they can remember. One thing is for sure, time marches on and 2019 will be here soon. People around the world will mark the end of one period and the beginning of another. The past year will be reviewed and the coming year will bring for many new goals and new dreams. I hope that in 2019 all of us at Shoreline Vineyard Church can dream big together.
This past Sunday we welcomed Dr. Alex AbuGhazaleh from Jordan as he shared for us a very special Christmas message. For over 900 years the people of Israel were waiting for the Messiah. The wise men that came from the east had been searching the skies for a sign as likely had been passed down from the times of Daniel and King Nebuchadnezzar. When the prophecy was fulfilled, however, many just did not accept Him. Today the question is still asked, "Who will take the Son?" Because whoever gets the Son, gets everything. If you missed the message you can listen to it online ->>>

This Sunday: It's the last Sunday of the year. It's human nature to look back, and tradition to look ahead with new goals and dreams in mind. Are you filtering your future through the eyes of your past or through the promises in His Word? When you set your goals, have you factored your faith into how big to make those goals? God has more for us as a church and as individuals than we typically allow. This Sunday we will close down 2018 and look at ways to get excited for 2019. Praise and Worship will begin at 10:30. Why not come at 10:15 to meet and greet a little before the service starts? We also have Morning Prayer starting at 9:30, and all are welcome.
