Now that we are approaching Advent season, we want to provide you with great resources to truly help you prepare for an amazing time of Advent this year. There are a lot of different places that you can find Advent resources in the Internet, and below are a few that we feel will help best serve in preparing you for this joyful time. All the resources are free and you are welcome to sign up for as many as you'd like.

-Oregon Catholic Press (OCP) is a leading publisher of Catholic worship materials in the United States. Check out their website with numerous resources—especially a playlist of great Advent music to help keep your mind and heart in the season at hand. You can access this great resource by

-The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has a wonderful webpage which includes an Advent calendar in English and Spanish, and even information on how to bless a Nativity scene or the meaning of the Advent wreath. Please

-Last but not least, our favorite year-round faith video resource,
FORMED.org, will have their own curated daily Advent reflections which will include weekly talks regarding the theme of the week, and you can also sign up for Brother Francis Advent reflections for kids as well! You can sign up for these reflections by

We hope that this email will help you and your loved ones grow closer to God and that you can find time during this busy holiday season to deepen and enrich your faith life as we prepare for the arrival of Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior. Also, please keep an eye out on our emails and social media for all the Advent opportunities we will have here at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
